I have attempted to remove the print driver, however only the online help appears in the Control Panel Uninstall Software tool, not the full printer and driver. If I run the hp printer doctor application it says - no printer installed and it attempts to install - and I get the same result- it appears to finish but never actually installs the printer. I attempt to get the driver at HP and install, and for some reason it skips any settings including the find the printer step and says installed. I can pop up the tiny HP utility and scan from the desktop but the user wants to scan at the device and select to scan to this computer (one of two in the office).
